This Euphoria scalp massager case study highlights how our team partnered with NION to create a multi-function scalp massager. This device incorporated EMS, vibration, and red-light therapy. All steps from early concept sketches to prototyping, testing, and packaging of this product were completed in-house.
Turning Technology into Everyday Relief
NION envisioned a tool that could promote scalp health while offering a relaxing, spa-like experience at home. To deliver that, our team focused on combining three core functions: EMS for stimulation, red-light therapy for circulation, and vibration for comfort.
Paying Attention to Ergonomics
Our team also studied grip, pressure points when developing Euphoria. We required this product to be easy to hold and use 360 degrees around the scalp. Special attention was placed on aesthetic, functionality, and materials that felt soft but sturdy.
Tested for Safe and Effective Red-Light Therapy
Our team calibrated the red light to a specific power density that supports scalp circulation without causing irritation or discomfort. By validating the radiant emittance, we ensured consistent light delivery across the silicone surface, even with curved or uneven scalp contact.
This attention to detail helped turn a standard red-light feature into a meaningful, tested benefit that aligned with NION’s goals for real, visible wellness results.
